
Within the grounds of the Idaho Shakespeare Festival theater (see Sunday’s post about the play) is a wonderful park.

It’s located on the outskirts of Boise near the Boise River.

The light wasn’t great for photos that day; it was cloudy and even rained on us during the performance. But they give you a glimpse of this lovely area.

What a pretty park! I like all the delicate flowers and shades of green and rocks (both walls and assorted boulders). The clouds in the top photo are a bit dramatic, which I think adds to the photo.
It is a pretty park. People can come early to the grounds before a performance and have a picnic meal in the park (or in the theater space). The wildflowers are really lovely this year because of all the rain we've had.
