Napoleon Hill gives the best analysis of the power and function of “desire” I have ever seen. People who want to truly understand this elemental force of human nature should read pages 25-44 in “Think and Grow Rich!: The Original Version, Restored and Revised” by Napoleon Hill (edited by Ross Cornwell). Hill also had some of the greatest insights into the power of the subconscious mind. You should also read pages 67-74 on “autosuggestion,” which explains how you can program your subconscious mind to act on desire to accomplish goals and objectives and to transform your life.
