Shadow shot

Sometimes the shadows cast on a wall catch my eye....

A shadow cannot ignore
the sun that all day creates

and moves it.

Gnostic Shot to Rumi

Shadows must ignore their
suns if they're
ever to drift into
walls & cast
out old voices -

so believe
some streaking
laterals
sun won't hold
captive- Trained,

a heavenly tree branches
horizontally, so many

limbo arms -
reach to no
body's
shadow

Thank you Anon, for another excellent poem :)

Yes, only a fleeting moment, Sheila, then gone....

Thanks, Katie. I love these special treats from nature, too. They really can brighten up a gray day.

Thank you, Shell. You're right, it does have a watercolor feel to it.
A happy weekend to you, too!
