In the Pink

As seen during a walk. Just the thing to chase away the gray winter doldrums.

Ancient Egyptians believed flamingos were the living incarnation of the god Ra. Do you have any pink flamingo stories or beliefs?  :)

Being in the pink
I become a letter "s"
or wish my neck
becomes a "s"
even accepting
a fate
of campy
relic with
coat
hanger
legs /
affront to those
with taste
but who really
don't have a leg
to stand on
or a pinky
to attract
sensation

I'm not well versed with flamingos but they are pretty, and I'm happy to go along with the Ra incarnation. :)

Thank you Anon, for your clever poem :)

Shell, I'm not well versed with flamingos either (unless they are plastic ones), but they are cheerful. The Ra connection was interesting to me; I'll have to look up more info on that...

Thank you, Indie.Tea, and welcome!
