A trail of petals

When I came home from work Friday, I found someone had left a trail of flower petals all along the block.

There was also evidence of an egg fight, probably inspired by Friday being the last day of school for the year. [Because some readers get queasy at the sight of raw eggs, I didn’t include that photo… :-)]

Great photo!! Especially fun since I took a very similar photo when I was on vacation in Minnesota a few weeks ago. There were pink petals all over the ground from the trees and I liked the pink against the gray sidewalk. Hmm, a case of great minds thinking alike perhaps??

That's cool! :-) Are you going to post your "petals" photo sometime? I'd like to see it.
It's so beautiful in the spring when the petals fall from the trees and cover the ground like confetti.

I don't plan on posting my petals photo - it's not nearly as good as yours! I seem to be pretty much sticking to my postcards for now. However next spring I really have to take photos when the the pink and white petals start falling off the trees in the parking area near my apartment. I does so look like confetti and so many petals fall at once it's like snow!
