We’re (understandably) fixated on barrels these days – barrels of oil and their skyrocketing prices. Here’s another use of a barrel. Much lovelier than a container for oil, or a "pork barrel." ;}

Looks like an old wine barrel. Very pretty with flowers in it though!
It could very well be an old wine barrel. Perhaps the flowers are enriched by traces of sauvignon blanc or an "oakey merlot". :-)
