Ha! I love geese. Seems I used to see them more when I lived in the Midwest. Though if you head out to the LA County Arboretum at the right time of year you can hardly walk, for all the goose poo.

I need to learn how to get my ducks in a row. I'll try to absorb it by visual osmosis. Happy weekend, Ms M!

Love me some duck, duck, goose. And that water looks so pristine.

Petrea: We get a lot of Canadian geese here, some migrating, others staying year round. And, yes, there are some places where the goose poo is pretty thick.

Shell: I hope you've been having a happy weekend and that your ducks have aligned themselves ;-)

Thanks, Dive. Those ducks presented the perfect photo opportunity.

Hiker: It's fun watching the geese and ducks that hang out around here. The water is a lovely pond in a nearby neighborhood. I'm not sure how pristine the water is though :-0

altho nearest pond freezes
freezes absolutely
uniformly
over
night, it
thaws
in thirds
so ducks glide
thru hell earth heaven
with an ease & grace
Dante would envy

Gorgeous photos!
I have in my archive photos of many ducks in a row too. Maybe I will post these photos soon. I have been with few ideas of posts...
