What a gorgeous pink. Tulips are one of my favorite flowers, but we can't grow them down here.
What a wonderful thing color is for the soul. Brightened this frigid Salinas morning.
Hoo, boy! Those are simply gorgeous, Ms.M.Wishing you and N a wonderful, warm and romantic Valentine's Day.xx
Hiker: I love tulips and they seem to do well here in the spring. The two in the first photo were such a delicate creamy pink. John Evans: Welcome -- and I totally agree with you on how color revives the soul!Dive: Thank you. We both thank you :-)
Once, John gave me tulips for Valentine's Day or maybe my birthday. I hated to see them go so I planted the bulbs. They come up every year (even here, Karin!) but they don't last very long.
That's a lovely story, Petrea. So the tulips became "the gift that keeps on giving", at least for a bit each spring.
One of my favourite flowers too. So whimsical, the way they keep growing in the vase and moving towards the light. I hope you're having a beautiful weekend, Mary.
Thank you, Shell. I hope your weekend was a very good one!
Thank you, Sonia!
