Sense of direction

Though our paths
are convoluted and we
hop from one latitude
to another
there comes a time
when out of shadows
an arrow points
back

which doesn’t mean backwards but
instead to that deep heartbeat
within ourselves
that familiar rhythm
that drumbeats us
into a new
direction

there was an ancient Greek philosopher named Zeno who claimed that an arrow could never reach its destination if you analyzed its travel logically interval by interval, what did Zeno know then of love?
