Holiday scenes

Some people really love outdoor decorations

The Holy Midwife was busy...

Candles of daylight

The Christmas cactus continues to bloom

Of course from a feline point of view, any time of the year is good for rolling around and napping....

A string of fairylights is about my speed, Ms M, but I love the gusto with which some approach the whole house-festooning experience. Isn't Macie sweet to wave 'Hi' at us!!

The Christmas cactus is gorgeous and the candles of daylight are beauiful!
Your cute cat looks adorable!

Though not religious, in fact we were irreligious, my dad set up a Styrofoam nativity scene on a hutch every Christmas. It enchanted. I'm pretty sure my brother carries on the tradition.

Hi Shell, These people definitely decorate with gusto. Macie was in her sociable and "performing" mode. She sends a special "hello kitty" to Ella.

Thank you, Sonia! Macie likes to show off. Which is very cute. She "performed" for us when we visited the cat shelter 2 years ago and won our hearts. Now she's queen of the house. :-)

Karin, You have such good stories about your Dad. Do you have a photo of his special nativity scene? Or maybe your brother can supply a photo of his? ;-)

Fun photos! I don't have any decorations up in my little apartment, but I do enjoy seeing houses all decked out. Very cool that your cactus has bloomed. Beautiful color. Kitty sure has the right idea -- I should nap more. Happy holidays!

Petrea: Yes, a LOT of nativity! I couldn't resist taking a photo of these "events".

Hi Katie! Glad you stopped by! I hope things have been going well for you. Happy holidays to you, too!
