More of "the day in the park"

The park I mentioned last week is more than the "land of geese". When we stood on the bridge, we noticed a turtle which occasionally stuck his head out of the water, treading water with his front feet to stay afloat. (Too far away for a photo)

A "rock garden"? We're not sure.

Shadows across a gazebo.

View across the water.

More shadows in another gazebo. The "gong-like" item at the far end is a chunk of an enormous tree trunk. Poignant....

The entrance -- and exit -- of the park.

How beautifully your parks people have combined nature with organic sculptural form, Ms.M. That's a pretty special place (especially if you step around the goose poo).

Ah, the mysterious Stonehenge of Idaho.

It's goose theme week! I am so out of it.

Dive: The designers try to integrate nature with functional aspects of the park. This park had some creative designers -- it is a special place.

Karin: Perhaps we should go check it out during a full moon...

Petrea: That's okay -- you're supplying the plants / garden life for the week.
