A place for writing, posting my photos, and more.
I was hoping you'd bring me flowers.
Beautiful, Ms.M. A frenzy of desperate insect-seducers baring all to the world.
Hiker: And so I did.Dive: The bees were quite busy, certainly frenzied.Thank you, Sonia. :-)Petrea: The flowers do look rather lazy, don't they? I especially think the one in the first photo, the purple coneflower, looks particularly slothful.
So many beautiful flowers there! And glad to know that in August I can call myself respectably lazy instead of just lazy.
Thanks, Katie. It IS nice to know we can be respectably lazy during August.
Idaho seems to be having a never-ending fire season. I know it's a big state, with a really wonky boundary. Are you far from it all and safe?
Very Purty! Looks like you are enjoying your summer.
Hiker: We are safe from the fires in Boise, although we do get the smoke. (Thank you for asking :-)) Idaho has a huge wilderness area:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Church%E2%80%94River_of_No_Return_WildernessHi Margaret: Thank you -- and it looks like (from your blog) you've been enjoying your summer, too, yes?
