Odds & Ends

Here are some scenes I came across during 2012. Perhaps this first one is a form of "sign language"?

Found in a puddle on the street. Apparently it was better when "he" didn't know.

What's the story, Morning Glory; what's the word, Mockingbird?

The end of aspen gold for another season.

if only who knew? surely
his frigid finger insinuated a saucy intrigue, but goes beyond

wisdom oozing between pages of a damp booklet culling all gasps a certain fool didn't & won't ever

know. "Like a bird
on a wire," Mr. Cohen has that
(g)spot-on. A last aspen, a lost

glove, an electrified
pigeon, beg a question. If some random "he" knew

what "she" knew, oh,
how history would've been loved
leaf instead of trigger finger

Ah, what a brilliant (and funny) wordsmith is our Anon.
Fantastic photographs, Ms.M. The first two had me in stitches, the second pair elegant perfection.
You two make an unbeatable team.

I love those sort of found objects. I always like to stop and read the lists that I found fallen on the ground.

Anon, brilliant poem that fits oh so well xxoo

Why, thank you, Dive -- I think Anon & I do make a rather good team.

Margaret: It's fascinating what you can find along a sidewalk, alley, street. Those little bits of personal lives.

That glove looks alive, like it's going to do something terrific, backed by a Cole Porter score.

Karin: I can see it now: the finger of the glove begins to wave back & forth in rhythm, the music starts, and the glove leaps off the post and begins to conduct a jazz orchestra which appears out of the trees.
