Bonsai and optical illusions

Along with the bonsai show was a bonsai demonstration. Taking photos of it was a challenge, often with surreal results.

A "double-duty" fist: is it a chin rest or poking the soil? The evergreen cuff is lovely, don't you think?

The man in yellow suddenly stepped up, concerned that the lady's arm was being wired into a bonsai display.

Some people are so into this, their heads morph into bushes.

Look, there's a camera! Everyone say che-e-e-ese....

By the way, the demo was well done. These folks know their bonsai.

Hee hee. Wonderful, Ms.M. I especially like the Bush-head.

Thanks, Dive. If there'd been a post in the background, it would have grown out of someone's head. Every photo I took of the demo had something strange and "un-photographic" in it, so I thought, what the hell, just have a little fun.

Have you given it a try?

Hi Margaret. No, I haven't tried bonsai. It looks intriguing, but I'm not much of a gardener. I'd probably end up with a bunch of small, dead trees! Have you ever tried it?

Never. Way too hard for me.

Very funny, Ms M! I think the bonsai haircut is my favourite.

Thank you, Shell. Nothing like a bonsai barber :-)

I'm fond of the chin rest. (I've got the halloween house up, as promised.)

The chin rest and evergreen arm are a good combo.
I'll come by your place soon :-)
