Autumn glow

Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting and autumn a mosaic of them all.
~ Stanley Horowitz

How beautifully leaves grow old.  How full of light and color are their last days.

writes across skin no less

than a-
cross leaves -
but erasing

even for a
second that
evidence cosmetically

covered denies chance
for sharp radiance
to define our

dusk, even
leafing noon

Thank you for your glowing poem, Anon xxoo

Um. I'm no poet. But like your pics.

Thanks, Margaret -- A person doesn't need to be a poet to post here :-)(Anon happens to be my Poet-in-Residence)
Whether or not you are a poet, you certainly are a splendid writer!

Glowing indeed, Anon.
When the weather gets cold, the colour keeps us warm. Autumn is just a big, comfy hug of beautiful leaves and yummy food. I love it.

You're absolutely right, Dive.

Autumn is taking its own sweet time over here. Maybe I'll just paste your final photo on my window.

That would work, Karin. :) Actually, autumn has come more slowly here, too. Many trees still have green leaves.
