We nicknamed this cloud, the "Zipper Cloud", although it also looks like a skeletal backbone. (Dragon fossil?)
A little unnerving to find right over your back door. Still, it's amazing how wasps build their nests.
Sometimes words just can't describe the situation....
Missing something?

The can of sardines phoned. It wants its key back.
This is a fabulously serendipitous series, Ms M.
Fabulously serendipitous indeed!
What mysterious delights.
There's a story in there somewhere, Ms.M.
Or perhaps a poem?
Thanks, Shell. It could be "free the fish" when they find the key or "save the sardines" from another point of view.
And thank you, Dive. The photos do lend themselves to a story or a poem. I think Anon may be thinking about this....
Well done. I especially like the zipper cloud.
Thank you, Margaret. It was an especially fun post to put together. The "zipper cloud" was unusual; I wonder what its scientific name is?
That wasp's nest is amazing!
Karin: I thought it amazing, too. Had to get a closeup. It's incredible to think of how wasps and birds instinctively know how to build their nests. Also, how bees know how to build a hive.
