Gone wild

This white duck must have gotten bored with life on the farm. Or perhaps it escaped the butcher's hatchet just in time.....

Be like a duck. Calm on the surface, but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

sorry, can't be like
a duck, no way except
like those in classic Japanese
prints
symbolizing
martial joy -
sometimes twittery on surface
but balanced
in deeps
freshened by ripples
my beloved's
energies
radiate

Beautiful poem, Anonymous.
Ms.M, I'm ashamed to say my first reaction was not to wax poetic but to clasp my hands to my chest and go "Aaaaaah." I'm a sucker for cute.

I agree with Dive, Anon -- beautiful poem!

Dive, I didn't wax poetic either when I saw this scene. To me it's charming and funny. (But I'm a sucker for cute, too)

Hee ~ count me into the hand-clasping category. Go, duckies!

Well-counted, Shell. :-)
