Another perspective

We flew to the Midwest for Thanksgiving. Here's a "quilt" of fields with a winding lake. I wonder if it's a river that has been dammed?

Setting the table Thanksgiving morning.

We did more than eat during our trip. I'll share more photos with you tomorrow.

Welcome back! What fun that you spent Thanksgiving in the Midwest. It's always amazing looking at the scenery, like this "quilt", from the air. Beautiful Thanksgiving table. Can't wait to see the food!

Thanks, Katie!
Actually, I did not take photos of the food!! :0 I was too busy helping with things. So, here's a brief menu recap: roasted turkey, cornmeal dressing, gravy, "Premium" Potatoes (mashed potatoes mixed with sour cream, cream cheese, butter, and herbs, then baked), cranberry relish with orange zest, rolls, and pumpkin pie with fresh whipped cream topped by grated nutmeg. Now, just set your imagination to work...
