Bursting out

Fall -- that time of year when many plants spread their seeds, which lie dormant over winter, then sprout to life in the spring.

Nature always awes and intrigues me…

Wow you've captured these fluffy pods wonderfully! It really is amazing to think how this whole plant-spreading mechanism works.

Thanks, Katie. I agree; it's amazing to think about. I love how the fibers caught the light. In the 2nd photos, there are shapes that look like birds (my husband, Norm, noticed that).
