A Sunday morning walk

Finally a break from all the holiday "busy-ness"

Fresh snow in the Boise Range

Ducks swimming amid the ripples

The "duck spa"

Another storm is on the way. It's cloudy and grey now. The wind has increased. The ducks will head for shelter. The water may freeze. More snow will gather on the mountains, perhaps we'll see snow here in the valley, snarling traffic during the morning commute.

But I'll hold to the peace and beauty of a Sunday morning walk.

Pretty and cold. Where do the ducks go for shelter, do you know?

Petrea, They sometimes shelter within crevices within the banks of the creek, especially when there are large tree roots. They also shelter under some of the foot bridges. And there may be other places, too.

Hi Sonia! Thank you. And I wish for a wonderful Christmas and happy New Year for you and your family!

Your photos are always so bucolic, dear Ms M !! I think our local ducks would love a duck spa. I wonder if news has travelled...

Hi Sonia,
Hello to you, too! I've not had the time to blog since December as I've had some changes with my job. So I'm taking a break.
I hope all is well you and your family. I'll stop by your blog when I can. Hugs to you too!
