Strange beauty

I've been busy lately with all the things that go on during this time of year. As a breather, here are some "non-holiday" scenes -- photos I took along the river earlier this fall. Strange beauty of a different season.

~Ethiopian proverb

Laws are spider webs through which the big flies pass and the little ones get caught.

Ooooh, very Tim Burton.
Beautifully photographed as ever, Ms.M.

Thank you, Dive. You're right -- they are rather Tim Burton-ish.

You know how many times I've tried to capture webs? No, you wouldn't. But these are lovely temporary sculptures.

So soothing right now....

Thanks, Karin. Webs are hard to photograph; these were so thick it made it easier. The forms and light were fascinating!

Hugs to you, Visions...

I'm reading Siddhartha by Herman Hesse, and it is all about the wisdom of the river.

Siddhartha is an amazing book, Margaret. It's been a few years -- maybe it's time for me to read it again....
