Translucence

Like delicate china. Like some people?

Last year I read a Japanese Manga titled "Translucent", by Kazuhiro Okamoto, about a girl in her teens who discovers her body is fading, especially when she's sad, stressed, or feeling disconnected from others. During the story, she learns what it takes to make herself visible and strong.

Of course, for these tulips, translucence is only an illusion....

Wow, those are gorgeous, Ms.M.
So delicate! My own tulips are those big, brash bruisers from Holland and I'd swap them for these any day.

These are exquisite, Ms M. I don't know that I've ever seen tulips as delicate as these. That Manga sounds lovely.

Thanks, Dive. It's been fun watching the plants coming up this spring, as it's our first spring in this house. I love tulips, including the brash bruisers from Holland :)

They were an exquisite discovery, Shell. The former inhabitants planted several unusual bulbs and plants.
I enjoyed the Manga. Have you ever illustrated graphic novels or stories? Your paintings would be marvelous in a book!
